Honoring Freedom Join Me for a Special Juneteenth Celebration
Juneteenth is more than a date in history — it's a powerful reminder of resilience, liberation, and the ongoing fight for justice. On June 19, 1865, news of emancipation finally reached the last enslaved people in Galveston, Texas — more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. Juneteenth marks that long-overdue moment of freedom and represents the enduring strength of Black communities.
As we honor this day, let’s come together to reflect, celebrate, and continue the work toward equity and empowerment.
✨ Join me for a special Juneteenth celebration!
We’ll gather in the spirit of freedom, fellowship, and culture — featuring a Meet the Author moment and book signing highlighting the voices and stories shaping my journey.
